Blue Goldstone/Marbled Blue Goldstone Traveler's Notebook
To make your notebook wide (5 strings), please purchase our WIDE ADD ON addition to your order.
Leather: The Blue Goldstone leather is an inky blue reminiscent of a still sea night. This leather is thinner than the rest of our notebooks thus far, with a level of floppiness but are still sturdy enough for your notebook. It's an amazing and unique leather that will continue to show interesting markings for years to come. Due to the thin nature of this leather, they do not undergo burnishing and will show markings and even small non-obtrusive holes. Non-marbled leathers will show less markings at the time of shipping than shown in the photos in this listing.
Upgrading from Regular (3 Strings) to Wide (5 Strings) is $10. To upgrade to wide, please add our Wide Add On to your cart and specify which notebook it refers to in the item notes.
Stitching: North Branch offers two forms of stitching, Machine and Hand. Machine stitching is done on a vintage Singer 66 sewing machine and Hand Stitching is done on a pony with a manual saddle stitch North Branch has perfected. Hand Stitching is recommended for the highest quality, longest lasting product. Machine Stitching orders will be processed more quickly due to the swiftness of a machine, but delivers a lower quality stitch that will deteriorate more quickly over time than Hand Stitching. Machine Stitching orders are processed in about 4-6 weeks while Hand Stitching orders are processed in 8-10 weeks.
Additional Notes: All products are made from real, high quality leather and may show unique markings! Variations in stitching are normal, although North Branch strives for uniformity, there may be a stitch that doesn't line up exactly. These are all products of being a hand made product from natural leather. This listing is for the cover only, and does not come with any paper products or inserts. Stitching and elastics are matched as best as possible, but come from different vendors, depending on stitching method and elastic options so coloring may be slightly off. Please refer to the Materials page for threading color photos.
